The pitfall of taking so many vacation pictures (literally over a thousand) is that you eventually have to weed through and edit them. Since this is an overwhelming process, you just keep putting it off and before you know it Thanksgiving has come and gone and your computer has crashed and nothing has been downloaded and you have lost your hard drive and you are forced to blog on your husband's lap top and you hate it and Christmas is almost here and there are soon to be hundreds of new pictures and suddenly blogging isn't so much fun anymore and you start to think that posterity is entirely overated.
Keeping this in mind, I am attempting to break our fabulous trip down by day. I can guarantee you there will be too many pictures because I am indecisive. Blame genetics. The first day was largely a travel day and since we have done this trip many times in the exact same airports (Memphis to Atlanta to Orlando) I decided to let my snapping finger rest up for the week ahead.
I have to give my boys credit for being excellent little travelers. They always have been. The biggest snafu of the day was trying to find the Razorback game playing in the Memphis airport. Harder than you would imagine. Then there was the added stress of realizing we would be in the air for the bulk of the game. Fortunately, Russ encountered a man (he's convinced he might have been an angel) that told him to look up p2p4u.net. The game was streaming live and they were actually able to watch it on Russ' laptop from the air. I find modern technology positively amazing. From the air, I tell you!
