Disney...Day 2

Aaahhhh! Seeing the castle always reaffirms our decision to spend the boys' college funds on Disney World :) Someone once said (maybe it was me!) that you either buy into the magic and enjoy the ride OR you go into it a cynic and complain about the cost of every $10 hot dog. We prefer the former. How can you not buy into the magic? Just look...

If there was audio to go with this picture, it would be singing "Hallelujah."

Got to love the photographers posing you for the cheesy character shots...again, you have to buy into the magic!

Posing in front of the train station before heading to the Promised Land. If Russ wasn't quite so tall, you would see "Let the Memories Begin."

Our first ride is ALWAYS Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Tradition.

After all these years, Russ still can't get that sword out of the stone!

Lunch at the Crystal Palace. Yet another tradition...More than the characters, I remember Carter drinking an obscene amount of chocolate milk at this meal. We were on the dining plan so it was "free."

Waiting to go into Mickey's Phil-Har-Magic in 3D.

Hanging out at Pooh's house. I have pictures of them when they couldn't even reach the top of the door. This time they barely fit!

This is a very beautiful picture. The boys are...drum roll, please...CARRYING THEIR OWN BACKPACKS! This was the first trip that we didn't rent a stroller and the boys carried everything...on account of us paying for everything :)

After a full day at the Magic Kingdom, we took the monorail over to Epcot for our 8:00 dinner reservation at the Coral Reef. We got there a few hours early so we could do a ride or two. There were no lines so we did some a few times!

This is the first time we ALL did Mission Space. In the past, Carter and I have gotten a bit claustrophobic and had to make a quick exit. On this trip, I got a bit claustrophobic, but took one for the team. Also, we did the Orange Mission complete with G-force, not the Green Mission (which is for sissy babies!).

The trip wouldn't be complete if Russ didn't carry a tired kiddo at the end of the day. Although, he may be reaching his maximum weight limit.

Even the concrete lights up at Disney! Magic, magic, magic!

The Spaceship Earth ride has been updated. At the end of the ride, each cart gets to choose their ideal future by completing a cute little survey. Your image is protected on a huge screen when you exit. Alex and I chose a life of leisure!

Posing by the Nemo ride after a late dinner. The park was closed by the time we finished so we literally had the place to our self to wander and take advantage of the photo ops. Please note the boys in their jackets...the weather was PERFECT the entire week. Didn't even come close to breaking a sweat!
